The Bible says in Psalm 37:23, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” So how does the Lord order our steps or how do we make sure our steps are ordered by the Lord? That is a decision we each must make on a continual and daily basis. The answer is found in the Bible. Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” We all need to be able to see where we are walking, especially when we are walking through an unknown area or an area that has formidable obstacles along the way.
We can safely trust the Word of God to guide us day by day.
The Bible is God’s Word and through it He speaks to us. His Word guides us and warns us of how we need to deal with problems that arise in our life and how to live a life that is pleasing to Him. We can safely trust the Word of God to guide us day by day in the decisions we make, the comments we make and the actions we take. As we follow the leading of the Lord, we also find that He is pleased with our life. Also, we find that we are pleased with the decisions we make and the direction our life takes.
Trust the Lord and His Word and you will not regret your decision.
