In John chapter 19, we see the account of Jesus on the cross. Jesus suffered persecution, humiliation and unimaginable pain. But it was not the soldiers or the religious leaders that took His life. Jesus laid down his life, and in the last moments on the cross, He cried, "It is finished". The price for our sin had been paid.
